Through Salisbury to Weymouth services will be reintroduced from 24 July it has now been confirmed by Go South Coast https://assets.goaheadbus.com/media/timetable_pdf/preview_web-tt_July17_damory_routeX12X20_PRESS.pdf
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! It's one through bus before 9 and a 2 hour ride, and all for under 3 hours in Weymouth.
DeleteI think it's merely for Damory's operational needs.
But only one return journey Salisbury to Weymouth And only Monday to Friday.
ReplyDeleteOh great! Ah, wait a minute, just one each way - and not at weekends. Well, better than nothing I suppose. But please don't try to spin it as a 'proper' service 'cos it ain't. It's just a fairly good way to use a bus that would otherwise be parked up in Blandford doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteA question not related to this post but local none the less. SN17MTJ was at the Southsea rally recently emblazoned with "Wheelers" fleetnames and complete with legal lettering. Today at Alton all fleetnames and the legals were gone - anybody have an idea why this is? Was it a long term demo (doesn't explain the legal ownership), has it been repossessed or what?
ReplyDeleteToday's registrations for Brockenhurst College have been posted being shared between First Bus and Bournemouth Transport (Yellow Buses)
